SJRC 2008 Summer Programs Advanced Learn-to-Row – Technical Development       We will offer a second set of lessons to those interested in continuing to learn.  This program is designed mainly to help novice rowers improve on their rowing abilities as well as those who have completed the Learn-to-Row program.  Learn to row graduates should have a recommendation from their instructor.  Times and dates will follow the Youth Learn to Row dates and times listed above.  We will need at least 4 people to sign up for a class in order to hold the class.  The technical development program will focus in great detail on the stroke and how to effectively move the boat while racing.  Small groups, 4 rowers, will insure a lot of attention to each rower.  This course is also an excellent way for novice rowers to improve their technical skills.  We will concentrate more on the finer details of rowing as well as training.  We also hope to video the sessions to analyze in more detail each rower’s stroke.
