RACing Team

Includes Novice and Varsity Athletes.  Novice athletes must have completed a Learn to Row program or have been a member of the Developmental Team.  This is a competitive team and is for athletes who are dedicated to racing in regattas. 

New to this season for our competitive team is our anticipated move towards racing and practicing with Moorestown Rowing Club as a composite crew "Cooper River Junior Rowing" - meaning your athlete will get double the coaching and shared access to equipment. Although your athlete will race under the composite name, they will still be considered an SJRC athlete. This composite crew simply means more opportunity for our rowers with greater access to shared resources. We are excited about this change and we appreciate your positive support and enthusiasm! Fall Season:
August 26th through November 2nd.
Monday-Friday: 5-7:30
Saturday: 7:30-10
Cost:  $1200

Payable either in full or two installments; $600 due at the time of registration and $600 30 days later.   Fee does not include food tent expenses or travel expenses.  Uniform purchases, including a competition uni and other gear, are an additional cost. Uniform information will be shared early in the fall season.
