SJRC TEAM GEAR STORES

2019 Women's Double Strong Results at Women's Henley Regatta

The Women's U19 2x competed at Women's Henley Regatta this past June, which was a first for the club.  The women raced a time trial on the first day of competition to move on to the head to head brackets.  Results are not posted just whether or not the crew advances, which the girls did taking first overall (results were posted after we returned home).   They were then placed in the lower bracket where they advanced to the finals, with two easily verdicts and one verdict 1/2 length, which landed them in the final.  Tough racing conditions and being in the unfamiliar lane the girls had a hard fought second place finish overall at the regatta.

2019 Spring Wrap Up

The 2019 Spring Season capped off at the USRowing Youth Nationals Championships in Sarasota, FL.  The team matched it's 2018 entries with six boats competing at the event with the top competition across the country.

It was a great weekend of racing and good results for the boats.  A lot of youth in these boats that shows for a promising results next year at this National Championship.

2018 Most Successful Spring Season on Record

2017 Women's Youth Nationals 4x

The 2018 Spring Rowing Season was the most successful spring racing season for South Jersey.  The team advanced six boats to the Youth National Championship Regatta, with two of them finishing in the top six of their event in the nation.  All crews qualified by placing in the top three positions at the USRowing Mid-Atlantics event in May.  SJRC athletes continue to out perform their goals set from the first day of training.

2017 YOUTH NATIONAL CHAMPIONS WOMEN'S 2X

SJRC brought home it's FIRST National Championship in June 2017 winning the Women's Youth 2x in Sarasota, FL.  The victory came down to the wire winning over Cambridge Boat Club by less than one second, but were in control from start to finish.
