Learn to row classes are offered to middle school and high school students interested in learning about the sport of rowing. The class introduces attendees to sweep rowing (rowing with one oar) and we try to introduce sculling (rowing with two oars) when class size permits. South Jersey Rowing Club offers five one week sessions throughout the summer of 2019. Each class runs from 9 AM to 1 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The cost is $325 per session.
Athletes should wear athletic clothes, sneakers, bring a water bottle, a light snack, sunscreen, hat and or sunglasses. Any questions please let us know.
The camp is held on the Cooper River in Camden County. All athletes should report to the Camden County Boathouse, 7050 North Park Drive, Pennsauken, NJ 08109. Walk to the back side of the building (water side) and we will meet in the fourth garage door up from the gray plastic docks. Arrive by 8:45 each day so we can start on time at 9:00 AM.
