2018 Competitive High School Summer Rowing
The South Jersey Rowing Club Competitive program is open to any high school aged athlete from any rowing club with at least one competitive spring racing season experience. The team trains on the Cooper River Monday thru Friday, 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM, June 7th thru June 22nd. Beginning June 25th practice will be 6:00 AM to 8:30 AM Monday thru Fridays. Saturday mornings will be 6:00 AM to 8:30 AM. New this year we will be holding second practices each day from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM which will be focused on smaller boat work and proper sculling instruction. The second practice will not be mandatory but is highly encouraged to attend both sessions. All athletes must be a member of USRowing with a Championship level membership, which is located here. Program fees are $985 for the summer. Registration is located online at Regatta Central, installment plan or full payment. After athletes sign up the club will contact you for uniform sizing information. Please contact us with any questions regarding the high school program.
A U23 Program will also be offered. Please contact the club for more details regarding this program.

June 23 - Working on creating our own home course regatta
June 29 - July 1 Independence Day Regatta, Philadelphia, PA
July 11 - July 15 USRowing Club Nationals Cooper River, Camden County NJ
July 21 - Philadelphia Youth Regatta (only those athletes that do not attain the age of 19 by December 31st are eligible)
August 7 - 12 Canadian Henley St Catherine's, ON (tentative on which crews will attend - must qualify)
